Fisher given the nod

The Anderson County Commission took less than eight minutes to cast the deciding vote in the juvenile court judge election for Democrat candidate Brandon Fisher during a special called meeting in the courthouse on Monday night, Aug. 30.
The final tally was 15-1 in favor of Fisher after the commissioners cast their respective votes on paper ballots at the standing-room-only meeting.
