Rabies Clinics start April 27
Law requires current rabies vaccination for all dogs and cats over three months of age. Each dog or cat vaccinated, registered and tagged is $10 CASH. All dogs are to be on leashes and cats under control.

All pets should be accompanied by an adult.

On Saturday April 27, 2013, the clinics will be at these locations from 2 - 3 p.m.

Claxton Elementary School, Norris Elementary School, Dutch Valley Elementary School, Fairview Elementary School, Briceville Elementary School.

The importance of vaccinating your pet against rabies cannot be stressed enough. Vaccination and registration are required by State Law.

In the United States there are more confirmed cases of rabies in cats than there are in dogs. Avoid contact with wild animals, especially skunks, raccoons, and bats. Bite wounds should be immediately washed with warm water and soap as the first line of defense.

On Saturday May 4, 2013, the clinics will be set up at these locations from 2 - 3 p.m.

Andersonville Elementary School, Lake City Elementary School, Claxton Elementary School, Norwood Elementary School, Clinton High School (Hillcrest St.).

Contact the Health Department in regard to any potential rabies problem at 425-8801 or 425-8810. Clinics will be held rain or shine. “For qualifying animals--- 3 years vaccination for $15 will be available”. Bring receipts of last rabies given.
