CHS class of 1967 reunion
The Clinton High School Class of 1967 will have a reunion on Aug. 31, at 201 Main St Event Center in Clinton.

The time is from 6 p.m. - midnight, and the classes of ‘65, ‘66, ‘68, and ‘69 are invited to attend.

Timely Topics meets March 26
“I Want to Stay in My Own Home And Sleep in My Own Bed” is the topic for Timely Topics on Tuesday, March 26 at noon at the Clinton Civic Center.

Dottie Lyvers, Special Projects/ Aging Service Manager for ETHRA/ East Tennessee Area Agency on Aging and Disability, is going to discuss independent living for senior citizens.

The focus is to offer options to institutional care for seniors who want to stay in their own home.

Lyvers will talk about the range of resources now available, both through the public and private sectors. Timely Topics is issuing an open invitation to anyone from the public who might be seeking this type of information.


Free beekeeping classes start March 23
Beginner Beekeeping School will be held from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday, March 23, at Clinch River Community School. Please pre-register at acbabee@comcast.net, or 865 406-0187.

Door prizes and refreshments provided. The second part of the school will be April 13 at Erin’s Meadow Herb Farm.
