Edgemoor Bridge will be reduced to one lane from June 2 - July 2
The Edgemoor Bridge on Edgemoor Rd (State Route 170) near Bull Run Steam Plant and Melton Lake Drive will be reduced to one lane for repairs from Wednesday, June 2, through Friday, July 2.

A second traffic light will be installed on the east end of the bridge to control traffic during the repairs.

Travel will be restricted to one lane which will cause severe back-up of traffic to an already congested area.

The Anderson County Sheriff’s Department suggests traveling an alternate route and to avoid this area during the repairs.

Those who travel this route during the morning and afternoon may wish to use the Oak Ridge Turnpike (State Route 95), Oak Ridge Hwy (State Route 61), and Clinton Hwy (US 25W) instead of Edgemoor Rd.

For information on the bridge construction, call the Tennessee Department of Transportation.
